We have chosen to switch comments off on our blog posts, so there won’t be collection any information here.

Contact forms

If you message us through a contact form on our site, we will answer using the email address that you gave us with. This won’t subscribe you to any newsletters, and we will NOT provide your details out to any third parties.


Cookies

We place cookies on a couple of our pages in order to evaluate the success of our paid traffic from Facebook, Google and other sources.


This allows us to know if people are visiting our site, and if they are clicking through to other pages or not, and allows us to make better decisions.


We do not get release any private data from this, and we will not pass on our pixel with any third parties.


Signing In

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to keep your login information and your screen display preferences. Login cookies last for 2 days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you choose “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you sign out of your account, the login cookies will be deleted.


If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal details and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after one day.


Embedded content from unrelated websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.


These sites may collect information about you, use cookies, embed extra 3rd party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including analysing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

We do not release your data with 3rd parties, however we will place Facebook and/or Google pixels so that we can track the performance of our paid media.


This does not give us any personal data, but lets us to make informed decisions based on the overall trend.


How long we keep your information

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This is so we can identify and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.


For users that register on our site (if any), we also store the personal data they give us in their user profile.


All members can see, edit, or delete their private data at any time (except it is not possible to change their login name).




What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this website, or have left comments (currently turned off), you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we have on record about you, including any information you have given to us.


You can also ask us to erase any personal information we hold about you.


This excludes any information we are required to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
